When most children were busy playing soccer, Bongaerts used to draw day in, day out. He was only thirteen when he created his first sculpture. To this day, this fascination for sculpting, monsters in particular, is present in his projects.

After being taught all the steps of creating creatures and realistic sculptures in the Netherlands, Joop continued creating small private projects and tribute Busts.
Over the years this has grown into Joop Bongaerts Creations. A one man company specialised in creating sculptures, paintings, murals and many more.
